| In 1974 when our daughter was a baby, my Hubby and I believed that our normally well-behaved 3 sons ages 10,12 & 13 were trustworthy enough to play around the motel pool for just a few minutes while we put Sissy in her swimsuit... What a shock to learn all 3 were jumping into the pool FROM THE SECOND STORY BALCONY!!!-OMG-When we think about the potential dangers, I still get shook up 34 years later! Needless to say,they lost all their priveleges for the remainder of the 4 day trip~ but 7mos old Sissy had a ball in her new safety ring, complete with floaties, as the guys sat on the sidelines. What a wakeup call! |
