| Luggage meets highway: We were getting ready to come home from a trip at the lake. With 6 kids, our vacations are always an adventure. My wife and I were busy with the younger children, so I asked my teenage son to tie down the luggage on the roof rack using the tarp and bungi cords. He said, "all set" so we took off. As we hit the highway, so did our luggage. I looked in my rearview mirror and saw our suitcases flying off the roof onto the road. Luckily, no cars hit the suitcases. I told my son it wasn't his fault because I should have checked. But next time, I know better. |
