| My daughter, 2 mo. old granddaughter, stepdaughter, 2 y.o. stepgranddaughter, and ex-husband recently went to stay with family in southern GA. There were approx. 10 adults and 8 children in a 4 bedroom, 3 bath house, with 2 den areas also. On one night there was also an additional adult and 3 children staying. The house is an older house with no central heat or air, so it was a big uncomfortable at times. With all those people,it got to be very chaotic and noisy, and was definitely not conducive to sleep. My daughter, stepdaughter, 2 granddaughters and I slept in a small den-room with it's own bathroom. It was a little crowded, but we had our own bathroom. We did have to lock the door at night to prevent people from trying to squeeze in to use the bathroom. I am still trying to recover from the lack of sleep .... but it was a lot of fun .... like a giant slumber party. |
