1. Ways to Enter A. Via the Internet: Beginning 10/16/07 through 5:00 p.m. (ET) on 1/31/08 you may enter the contest by visiting www.AmericasBestValueInn.com. Enter by clicking on the Too Close for Comfort sweepstakes icon then complete the entry form for a chance to win HBO and Thrifty Prizes upon voting for a story. To enter for the free nights at an Americas Best Value Inn, you must post a travel story on the website, then website visitors will vote for their favorite stories. The top 10 stories will win. You must be at least 18 years of age to participate. Only one entry per person/home address/e-mail address, per day. Normal Internet fees will apply as you are charged by your provider. Americas Best Value Inn reserves the right to edit stories and not post stories based on content. B. You may also enter the drawing for HBO and Thrifty prizes by sending a self-addressed stamped postcard to Americas Best Value Inn, "Too Close for Comfort Promotion" P.O. Box 2919 Salisbury, MD 21802-2919. Postcards must be received by 2/5/08. You must be at least 18 years of age to participate. Only one entry per person/home address/e-mail address.

2. Eligibility: Contest open to residents of the United States, Canada, and Mexico. You must be at least 18 years of age at the time of entry. Employees and immediate families/households of HBO, Thrifty, Americas Best Value Inn and Vantage Hospitality Group, parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, licensees, suppliers, and advertising agencies are not eligible to participate in the sweepstakes. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited by law. HBO, Thrifty, Americas Best Value Inn and Vantage Hospitality Group are not responsible for any lost, incomplete, or late entries, and are also not responsible for any technical problems with the Internet, servers, or misdirected email. The authorized account holder of the email address used to register will be deemed the registrant player in the event of any disputes. Entries that contain errors, are incomplete, mechanically reproduced, or illegible will not be accepted. HBO, Thrifty, Americas Best Value Inn and Vantage Hospitality Group are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or damaged mail or entries and reserve the right at their sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with his/her entry.

3. Random Drawing: All prize winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Sweepstakes drawing will be conducted on or about 2/15/08. Winners of the HBO and Thrifty prizes and free stays at Americas Best Value Inns will then be notified by mail or telephone.

4. Verification of winnings: Winners must comply with all conditions set forth in the Official Rules. Winners of the sweepstakes must sign and return an affidavit within 10 days of being notified that they are the winner in order to claim their prize. If the winner cannot be contacted or fails to return the affidavit within the 10-day period, they will forfeit the prize. In that event, another name will be drawn and the winner will have 10 days to respond.

Contest Winners: 1) $150 Best Buddy gift certificates for stays at Americas Best Value Inns (10 winners will be selected from the stories posted at Americas Best Value Inn's website based on the most votes received as cast by website visitors). Stays at Americas Best Value Inn hotels are subject to availability at the individual locations and may not be combined with other discounts or promotions and certain restrictions and blackout dates apply. Reservations for the hotel stays must be made through Americas Best Value Inn's website AmericasBestValueInn.com. Certificates must be presented at check-in. If the cost of your stay is less than the certificate amount, you will not receive cash back. The certificate has no cash value. 2) One HBO prize will be awarded to each of the top 25 entries through Americas Best Value Inn's website and from mail in postcard entries. The retail value of each prize ranges from $10 to $20. 3) Two-day car rental in the U.S. by Thrifty Car Rental (10 winners), approximate retail value $80 for each prize. All Thrifty car rentals are subject to availability and certain blackout periods. Rental week must be completed by 6/30/08. You must be at least 25 years of age, possess a current valid driver's license, a major credit card, and conform to the terms of the standard rental agreement. Standard rental qualifications will apply. Taxes, gas, insurance, additional driver fees, airport fees and other optional additional expenses are the winner's responsibility. Mileage restrictions may apply. Odds depend on the number of entries.

Prizes will take a minimum of 30 days for delivery.
