Pendleton, is the hub of Northeast Oregon. The history of Pendleton is very rich in the traditions of the west, and was one of the main resting, staging points on the Oregon Trail. We are nationally famous for our annual Let*er Buck Round Up and Happy Canyon show which takes place every September. It has been said that Pendleton is where the sun goes to spend the winter in Oregon. Pendleton is an old cow town set in between the steep hills along the Umatilla River which provides excellent fishing. The Umatilla river flows right through town with a two-mile-long paved and illuminated walkway that also runs along the length of town.
